What we say
Piano bar with a wide variety of music and great martinis.
Check out the bar, chandelier and ornate decorations (yes, that's marble). Live shows and entertainment throughout the week. Check out their Monday martini specials, a great place to be on an otherwise quiet night.

This bar has changed a lot over the years...And not for the better. They have the smallest martini glasses I have EVER seen. They must have had them custom made that small!! They are just blatently ripping everyone off. Pretentious atmosphere that is totally undeserved.
Decor-wise, this is my favorite place in the Phoenix area. It's very pretty inside and out. There's no cover charge earlier in the night (maybe it's before 11pm?). But you need to be there well before then to get parking. There's another night club nearby, and the same small parking lot is shared by both clubs. I've never met anybody there. I wouldn't say the people are unfriendly, but they're not outgoing either. The martinis are $8 and $9. I was there on a Saturday night at 11pm and there weren't many people there, strangely enough.
This place is full of people with maxed out credit cards who feel they are better than everyone else and full of attitude. To bad, because the bar is quite nice and has a lovely patio. I suppose if you like that type of crowd it would be a fun place.
Most of the guys here are snotty bitches that believe that they are too good to talk to anyone. Considering that the DUI laws are getting so bad I just come and drink water but a bottled water that comes in a bottle that looks and by the way tastes like cologne, and also costs 4 bucks.... forget it!
An upscale bar catering to a more sophisticated as well as mixed crowd. This was once the only bar where you could find a good looking crowd on the weekends. Since the opening of more bars in Phoenix, it's rather empty on the weekends. The place is huge, which makes it look even more empty. The first Friday of the month is usually a good time to go. They have a room for dancing (Club Miami), which is particually bad since other dance specific venues have opened. Overall this place has a lot of potential. I'm waiting to see if they can muster up the crowd that once frequented Amsterdam.
