Beautiful Bar/Plastic People

The bar complex is very nice. They have a wonderful outside bar. The customer base is very snotty and self absorbed. Not a friendly bar and bartenders have an attitude.

Always a fun time at Amstys on Friday nights! Only place I can talk my girls into going to. We love it. No cover, Decent priced drinks, mixed well. Great music, Plenty of room. [Sometime super packed at the peak hours] Bartenders are moderately friendly. Nice mix of patrons. Easily located off the light rail [Big plus!].

Don't make them be rude.

This is a nice bar, good decor and friendly staff. You will pay more to drink here, if you are on a budget go somewhere else. I hear lots of comments about the attitude. Here's the deal, this is a bar that caters to a younger and affluent crowd. If you are a man who is in your 40s or 50s and you have convinced yourself that you have aged so darn well that guys young enough to be your son will be attracted to you well, you deserve what you get. Quite frankly if you are 40 you are too old for this bar. I don't say this to be rude, I am over 40 and I am too old for this bar. I wouldn't walk in the door unless it was with friends and I sure as hell wouldn't try to pick up anyone.

I tried it again

I went back to Amsterdam, at a friends request. It was too crowded for me, though the music was good just no room to dance. They did have the two different rooms with different music. The drinks were a lil bit pricy compared to the other clubs. I kinda enjoyed myself. But it is not one club picks and really don't plan on going there much but I can see myself going there for a drink.
