Amsterdam (Closed Permanently)

(79 Ratings)
Piano bar with a wide variety of music and great martinis
Check out the bar, chandelier and ornate decorations (yes, that's marble). Live shows and entertainment throughout the week. Check out their Monday martini specials, a great place to be on an otherwise quiet night.

Hours
Daily 4 p.m.—2 a.m. (til 4 a.m. Friday and Saturday)

Time for a change!

Moved here about two years ago from LA area. Coming to the fifth largest city in the states you would think that this club would be up to part but it's not! The DJ's are NEVER on point! Sometimes I don't even think they have one (seriously). The club is never pact after 12 o'clock. The place is just not being used to it's fullest! The owner walks around with his boy toy the whole night and the staff isn't friendly at all. One would think with a place like that it would find a way to be the best dance club. Bring in well known DJ's. As well as providing impeccable service to the gays in downtown phoenix. Save your coins and time and try a club that's headed into the next era. BURN! Saturday nights a must!

Wish I could be there more

I travel and was only able to be at the Amsterdam on a Sunday night. It was quiet, but the scenery was tantelizing and I would go back in a heartbeat. The atmosphere was quiet and casual, but upscale. The service was prompt and the drinks were fine. They will get my business when I'm in town

Over-rated

You pay way too much for small drinks and the crowd is just ok. The club part is a joke with bad music.

Ay Ay Cap'n

Periscope up! The dance floor mirrors make it look like a submarine, and when you surface, you realize that you just spent the whole night dodging fat girls with oversized purses. I like the "tiki" bar in the back, it's pretty....pretty stupid. Na, just kidding....this place is cool. I can't wait for the light rail. It's fun riding the train when drunk.
