Royal Villa Resort (Closed Permanently)

The older owner is bossy, impatient, arrogant, and greedy. He doesn't provide a gay motel for the gay community for philanthropic reasons to support the gay community. He literally told me "I like their gay dollars." He's in it entirely for the money. He doesn't care about us. He just wants our money. Want to check out past 11am? He charges $20 for 2 more hours or $40 for 4 more hours. The place was dead. There was hardly anyone there and I can see why. The only bright spot was his younger partner; very nice, sincere guy. I feel bad for him having to put up with that bitchy queen. I regret giving him my "gay dollars." Never again.

I just returned from Phoenix, and I must say that I really liked staying here. everyone seemed very nice (even though I kind of stayed very much to myself). I will tell friends about staying here and am looking forward to my next visit.

3rd time staying at the royal villa

This was my 3rd time staying at the Royal Villa. Doug and Kenny are always making improvements. They added new TVs in the larger rooms in the past year, and are beginning to change the counter tops in the kitchen area of the larger rooms. I don't expect housekeeping every day, since I am a neat person. If I need anything I tell them before I go out. Even if I go out for a few hours, my room is done when I get back. Doug and Kenny are up to date on all the bars and resturants. If you need anything they will do their best to accomadate your needs. The Royal Villa is the most central place to stay in Phoenix. I checked out other places and they do not compare to the Royal Villa. Your Safety and Security are number 1 at the Royal Villa
