Burning Fountain

Why should everyone in Black Rock City have all the fun? Come to The Fountain, and don’t be left behind! We will start with a Burner Brunch at noon on Saturday, go full swing as night hits, and will end Sunday morning. We will be burning. We will have a vast spectrum of music. We will have the Chaos Sound System (aka, the Boom Boom). This is a burner event. Leave no trace, and VERY IMPORTANTLY BYOEverything you will need. Booze, food, cups, chairs, blankets etc. Please do not share this event publicly, other than in burner forums. PLEASE SHARE WITH BURNERS! This is gonna be rad! If you would like to introduce someone to the burner community, you are welcome to bring one or two people. Just make sure they are aware of our principles. If you bring any wee ones, please have them depart by 7:00 PM. Nudity is cool (after 7:00 PM), just don’t flash the neighbors. (We will have designated areas. Sorry, no pool.) Please respect boundaries regarding photography and touching. Fire spinners and performance artists are welcome! If you play an instrument, bring it. If you have any particular needs to express your art, let us know! Playa attire encouraged, but not mandatory. We plan to burn a man on Saturday night. If anyone would like to help plan and/or build, please contact Joe or Sheri. Please skidaddle by noon on Sunday. We will be appointing each guest as a moop fairy, and will determine which team you’re on when you arrive. Whichever team has the fullest rubbish vessel will receive a prize. If your team is ahead upon your exit, you win something. (In other words, we’re making cleaning up into a game!) DJ and live music line-up TBA.
