Phoenix

Welcome to the

Palm tree in Phoenix

Phoenix and Scottsdale sit in the heart of a valley which enjoys 325 sunny days a year and is aptly named "The Valley of the Sun." The temperatures here are warm year round and the summers bring many days over 100 degrees (F). Phoenix, probably due to its warmth, has a laid back small town feel. But don't let that stop you -- it has a thriving gay community and there's a growing variety of dining and nightlife options for all types here. The incredible racial mix of the huge metro area makes the gay scene incredibly rich and diverse. Gay nightlife and the bars & clubs are mostly concentrated in central Phoenix between 7th Ave and 7th Street and Indian School and Camelback Mountain roads.
