A Wonderful Dinner Spot
No question about it this is a fun casual dinner place that always makes you feel welcome. One of my favs is the potato crusted chicken breast. The parking can be a challenge with neighboring merchants not helping out, but if you are patient you will find a spot. I havf also done the Sunday brunch which was equally enjoyable. It's not high end decor, but it's great food in a friendly atmosphere. The blood orange martini is totally fab!
Something is just wrong
We have been friends of this spot for some time and are saddened by what seems to be happening. When is it appropriate for a person in charge to share an embarassing video of a patron in distress in the cafe with friends and co-workers? If this family were made aware of this, how would they feel? This same fellow has been rude and obnoxious to patrons on several occassions, yet continues to boast of his "value" while in neighboring cafes. We enjoy every visit to Maizies, Joel and his family are wonderful folks, the wait staff (Bess, Marco, Ryan, ChaCha, and all) will be our favorites forever.
Great little place
My partner and I with some friends went there a few times during our stay in Phoenix. Had a good time with some great food. Plus the waiter was a real cutie and nice which sure makes it even more enjoyable. While in Phoenix would recommend Maizies.
