No answer/no call
I didn't want to screw up the star rating as it seems like a nice place, but unfortunately I never received a call back from Dan over three days, no reply to my e-mail application or my second e-mail. I ended up booked at a Holiday Inn Express instead. Sorry I could not get a call back to be able to truly rate your place.
wonderful place
this is a wonderful place, quiet and relaxing. the hosts are very helpful and will try to let you know of the best restaurants and/or bars in the area. it's like your own little paradise. very tropical
Wonderful experience
My partner and I stayed at the Rainbow Casita In Phoenix, AZ, for a few days in May 2011, while we were travelling around through the southwestern states. We had a wonderful time at the Casita. The guesthouse was very comfortable, and the entire property (including garden and pool) was kept in immaculate condition. Our hosts were extremely hospitable and helpful. The Rainbow Casita is an excellent starting point for the discerning gay traveller wishing to explore the cities of Phoenix and Scottsdale, the local nightlife, and of course, the beautiful desert environment. Highly recommended!!!

I tried contacting them several times in the past few weeks, by email and phone. NO RESPONSE. I was told by friends in the area, that they are closed.
Extremely Relaxing Atmosphere!!
I knew I had made the right choice for a place to stay when I noticed the crystal clear swimming pool, the beautiful lush plants on the patio, and the comfortably equipped guesthouse. I found myself sunning by the pool (in the nude, of course) every afternoon before taking a nap, and then heading to dinner at several locations recommended by my hosts, Ralph and Dan. So whether it was spending time alone, or exploring the local nightlife, my four days spent here were a time to remember!
