Jon Wassom states "The purpose of this body of work is to empower humanity with a focus on the male form. Myself as a gay male, I wanted to portray the quiet power of man in a tasteful and sensual way. With all the tragedy that has happened recently in the LGBTQ community, I wanted to give us a voice, and to say that we will stand no matter what, and to be proud of who we are. The images of crowds of people symbiotically moving together are a testament to us moving forward. They also compliment the male in all of its intimacy. From silhouettes to personal close ups, these pieces were intended to induce an intimate experience with the viewer."
We believe that LGBTQ+ people deserve safe vacations that allow them to be their authentic selves. That's why our City Guides aren't locked behind a paywall. Can you contribute today?
