Good old timers' joint, and that's a good thing!

Yeah, the crowd is definitely full of aunties, but they're all really nice. And there is no pressure whatsoever, just a bunch of nice old guys having a nice old time. The Western camp decor rocks, and the jukebox is the best in Phoenix -- all the best alternative music from the last couple of decades (Joy Division instead of Madonna, that sort of stuff...). Good place to either start or end a pub crawl.

Sunday is the day

If you are looking for fun at this bar, go on a Sunday evening. It is well known as the Sunday bar. Has an outside patio that is screened from the street and is a party. Bears/Cubs/Chubs/Leather/ and whatever go on Sunday evenings.

Great Friendly Place

Great place for a good time. Bartenders are friendly and make a good drink. For a change, not a clickly customer type of place; everyone is friendly and make a stranger welcome to a large city.

the few times i have been there over the last few months it was fun every one was friendly How ever went on a sundsy around 9 : pm and they were closed and i was just in the mood for a few drinks and some one to talk to ect

Good times at nu town no matter what day you walk in. I love this little place and always will. have had more lauphs here than anyother in phx? Only one questions where have all the bears gone

Not worth the drive

This place has gone way downhill! I dont know what happened but the crowds have gone and only nasty remains. There is no DJ anymore. Not worth the drive.

Where's the burger boy!?

Sundays here rule! My friends and I love coming up here on Sunday for a burger and $1 drafts. Unfortunatly, as far as the cook being there, its hit and miss.

HOT NUTS BAD FOR TUMMY

I absolutely loved the charm and feel for this establishment!! I saw a gumball machine type thing behing the bar and asked the bartender for some gum....he told me it was "Hot NUTZ!!???) He hands me a small paper dish and it was full of literally warmed (cashew)nutz. My tummy went bezerk and I had a one night stand with MR Whipple that night!! My advice: Try the bar...stay away from the Nutz boys!! Zoar

Diversity in the Flesh. Twinks, Levi, Leather, Bears, Jocks,Regular guys,Transgenderd...etc) converge on Sunday evenings, peak time between 5-8pm and all get along and have fun. The Crowd thins about 9-11pm. Daddy Ron rules.
