I live in the neighborhood. Went there one night and saw 3 customers sitting right next to each other plus 1 bartender, no music, no sound from TV, and no one was talking. I think they were enjoying a quiet night at bar, so I left quietly.

Except for Karaoke Fridays, the only car I usually see here is the bartender's. No music unless someone puts money in the jukebox, so usually you can pay top dollar to drink alone, surrounded by wood paneling and watching TV. The regulars seem to be dropping by much less frequently, probably because a night out there can add up with the new drink prices and limited specials.

The bar has been sold to a younger couple. It's n ow called "Taylor's Tavern" and it's alot better! The have Karaoke on Friday nights is so much fun. Go check it out...Lots of improvements!

I've only been here during Happy hour. It's like family in here, dark, quiet old tavern, friendly service, mixed male/female crowd, not much to do or look at.
So, what do you say?
