Too, plain, too boring, too much lights!
There are so many other good bars in Phoenix to go to and have fun.
Didn't find bartenders are customers to be very friendly.

Expensive drinks, drab decor. Older men, hospital
lighting. Won't go back!

I used to visit this place 5 nights a week before the current owner took over. Visited again last month and ... well... the current owner had done a great job to ruin this place.... not a friendly place... will never go back again.

Seems like the door woman and bartender need customer service training. The only friendly and helpful person here was the barback. No fun here so went elsewhere.

That would be a stretch, but Apollo's is a nice neighborhood bar with mostly friendly crowd. Most of the guys are 40's - 50's. Cute bartenders, but the bar can be a bit loud for a small bar. They updated it in the past year or so and it looks nice. A long time Phoenix staple.

There is not much that is distinctive about Apollo's,except that everybody goes here on the weekends. The bartenders are indeed very sweet and fun-loving, and it's so busy you're bound to hook up. Otherwise, it's just a relaxed party bar. So it's a perfect Phoenix Gay experience!

Laid back atmosphere. Very bright and clean inside. Filled with an older crowd. I was there on a Saturday night, and it was busy, but the atmosphere was sort of boring.

Wow! Apollos has really changed. They have a nice modern atmosphere and friendly bar tenders. The new patio will add almost twice the square footage to the bar. It is a nice place to hang out with your friends and chat. There is something going on almost every day of the week. There is never a dull moment so come in and check it out.

Ok sure it is packed on the weekends, but there is no attitude. It is a great bar with fun kareoke.

Love the karaoke; sometimes scari-oke...But, the staff is great along with some of the best owners (Ron & Lee - aka: Leona Barr)...YOU GUYS are great!!!

Karaoke is supposed to be FUN!! After all, we're not American Idol contestants. I was a little hesitant to go, because I've been to other bars with karaoke and it seemed like everyone was competing against one another; but, I'm so glad that I went to Apollo's. If you like karaoke but you're embarrassed because you don't have a golden voice, try Apollo's! The patrons are supportive and are there to have a good time and the bartenders are friendly. I really enjoyed myself!!

Apollos is just a small unimposing building that blends in with all the other small buildings around it. It doesn't do anything to try and catch your attention or bring you in. It doesn't have to...This bar has what no other bar in Phoenix has. That special quality that makes a place matter. Apollos has the best patrons in town. They don't go there for the building that houses this bar. They go there for each other. They know that each visit will will enable them to come away with a new friend or memories of a meaningful conversation with someone they have known and loved for many years. These people know fun is the best attitude and quality of service matters more than anything else. There is a casual feel to this place where all the masks that people hid behind are gone because they aren't necessary. The Brunch on Sunday is a treat that shouldn't be missed and neither should the handsome male strippers on Sunday night!

So, what! If you don't like it, be sure to Vote Democratic and they will take the smoking away! Great place for friends and I will continue to go here. The bartenders are HOT and JUICY! They will remember your drinks!

YIKES..Talk about nasty. Everyone in here smokes. Figured I would give it a try..if you want to live beyond your forties I highly would skip this place..otherwise your eyes will burn for days. Bring visine and a face mask if you really need to go!

This was a bar that went through a transformation. New Owners remodeled completely and set a new friendly young staff in place. They picked up the professional happy hour clientle from the now closed Winks & Johnny Mcs. It brought 3 great crowds together for a nice new mix of friends. Happy Hour food on Mondays & Fridays. The day bartender Kevin is the most gracoius host( & cute) in all of Phoenix !!!
So, what do you say?
